The standard engine equipped in the 2019 BMW X4 is a 2.0L TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder engine, producing 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission with Sport and Manual shift modes also comes in the 2019 X4. Listen to your favorite media with a HIFI Sound System, including 12 speakers powered by a 205-watt digital amplifier. While you’re cruising down the highway on a bright day or starry night, you and your passengers can enjoy the panoramic moonroof with the fully automatic 2-piece glass panel, power slide and lift control, and power interior sunshade. Safety Features
The 2019 BMW X4 has a full suite of safety features ready to warn, help prevent, and if an accident does occur, contact emergency services. With BMW Assist eCall™, your vehicle comes with an Emergency Request (SOS button), and an Enhanced Automatic Collision notification. Additionally, the BMW Active Protection System can detect an accident about to happen, and prepares the X4 by closing windows, automatically pre-tensioning safety belts, and activating post-crash braking.
Smaller safety-oriented design features include components such as Adaptive Brake Lights, which will increase in brightness if you press on the brakes for an emergency stop.
